2001 Northern Hills Conference Golf

Wayne Valley won the team title in the Northern Division of the Northern Hills Conference Golf Tournament that was played May 29 at the par-72 Packanack Lake Golf Club. One group had not completed its last hole before a thunder, lightning, hail storm forced suspension of play. The Course Superintendent proceeded to declare the course unplayable and closed. Therefore, the 10th hole that was the hole the last group could not complete, was omitted from all scores and the tournament was modified to a 17-hole format.

The following day, Delbarton cruised to a 23-stroke victory over Millburn for the Southern Division title as Green Wave players finished 1-2-3.
