Highlanders take 2nd in WPU X/C Invitational
|
Consistency throughout the lineup allowed West Milford to finish second
in the boys division of the 2002 William Paterson University High School Cross Country Invitational that was contested
on the Pioneers' campus in Wayne on Friday.
Ryan Kenny crossed the line in fourth place, posting a time of 17 minutes, 26 seconds, the same clocking turned
in by teammates Greg Weiss and Brendan Kenny who finished 5-6. One second back in seventh place was Dan Binder.
In the girls' race, the Lady Highlanders placed third as Emmie Perchak led the local pack across the line, finishing
sixth in 21 minutes, 7 seconds. |
